Brooke Rochelle

Brooke Rochelle-School Nurse

Mrs. Rochelle always wanted to be a teacher growing up, but ended up becoming a nurse instead. She married her college sweetheart in college and they now have three children and a dog. Initially, Rochelle started her career as a school nurse, but then went to work inthe neonatal ICU (with tiny babies) for a next. Next, Rochelle worked in clinical nursing and has now made a full circle back to the being a school nurse. With the love for teaching and nursing, school nursing is the best of both worlds!

Fun Facts:

Her favorite book is Little House on the Prarie.

Her favorite quote is “You will never influence the world by trying to be like it.”

Her dream vacation was going to Greece, where she and her husband went on their 15th year anniversary. Rochelle stated, “Nothing beats swimming in the Mediterranean Sea!”

Something students might be surprised to learn about Mrs. Rochelle is that she was a multi-sport athlete and played tennis in college. She stated, “I am a very quiet and reserved person, but I am a relentless competitor. Just ask Coach Ro about some of our ping pong battles!”

Welcome to the Health Office!

As your school nurse, my goal is to support the health and well-being of all students so they can learn and thrive throughout the school year. I am here to assist with health concerns, provide first aid, manage chronic conditions, and promote healthy habits.

A few reminders for the school year:

  • If your child is sick, please keep them home until they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication.

  • All medications (prescription or over-the-counter) must be stored and administered in the Health Office with proper documentation.

  • Please make sure we have up-to-date emergency contact and medical information.

  • Annual health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) will be conducted as scheduled.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I'm here to help!

Kayla Bartlett

Kayla Bartlett-School Nurse

Ms. Bartlett has a Master of Science in Nursing from Southwester Oklahoma University. She is a Registerd Nurse and a Certified School Nurse. Her favorite part of working at Earlsboro is the unique house system adn the school spirt that it creates. She also enjoys the overall friendliness of the school and feels like this is a great place to work.

Bartlett chose to step into schools for a change of pace compared to her previous nursing roles. This has enabled her to find a better balance between family and work-something not all nursing positions allow. She has discovered how much she loves being a school nurse and truly enjoys caring for the students and serving as a health resource for both them and the staff.

Fun Facts:

Some fun facts about Bartlett is the her hobby is that she runs a farmstand on weekends providing baked goods and farm fresh items to her community.

She has three cats, five chickens, two Nigerian goats and is always campaigning for more pending her husbands green light!
